Two Bemidji golfers have made quite a name for themselves on the local courses.

The name is the same. Meet the Morgans.

Junior Morgan Williams and Senior Morgan Miller have golfed together since they were in sixth and seventh grades. The two friends led the Bemidji Town and Country Club to a Minnesota Golf Association Junior Team Championship in 2014. The duo is up to their old tricks in 2015 with the Bemidji High School team.

Miller finished third and sixth in her two best performances of the season, beating out Williams in Brainerd on April 18th. Williams placed in the top seven in all four meets this season, twice finishing second.

Golf meets allow local athletes to measure their abilities against other players in the area. The Morgans can compete with anyone, but most of all they compete against themselves and the course.
