Man & Woman Killed In House Fire In Aitkin County

A man and a woman were killed Sunday, March 31^st as the result of house fire in Aitkin County. The incident was reported at 11:10 pm in Shamrock Township, according to the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office.

The Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office, along with the McGregor Fire Department, responded to the scene. When deputies arrived, they discovered two deceased individuals, an 80-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman. Their identities are being withheld pending the notification of family members.

No cause has been determined yet for the fire. The fire is still under investigation from the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Minnesota State Fire Marshal.
