Man Arrested in Connection With Childs Death
We have more information on the arrest of a Bemidji man we first told you about last night on Lakeland News.
Bemidji Police Chief Mike Mastin reports in a press release that Nathan Daniel Jackson, 38, was arrested on Sunday after the death of a two-year old girl at a home on Lake Avenue in Bemidji.
Jackson has not been charged yet but remains jailed in Beltrami County on potential charges of 2nd degree murder and 2nd degree manslaughter.
The body of the girl has been sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
The case remains under investigation as the Bemidji Police Department continues to collect information. Formal charges from the Beltrami County Attorney’s Office are pending.
No other information is being released by the Bemidji Police Department at this time
