Two mailboxes on Tuesday morning were found blown up according to incident reports from the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office.

The report says that both incidents occurred around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. The damaged mailboxes were located on Wildflower Drive and Sunnyside Road Southeast.

Both mailbox owners who reported the damage told the sheriffs deputies that they woke after hearing a large “bang” around 4:30 a.m.

Neither property owner discovered the damage until later that morning.

So far no arrests have been made in connection to the damaged mailboxes.
