Lt. Governor Tina Smith Visits Merrifield For Manufacturing Week

Minnesota citizens have a lot of resources to take pride in. This particular week is dedicated primarily to our pride in our Minnesota Manufacturers.

Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith came to the Lakes Area manufacturing Breakfast in Merrifield to stress the importance of the Minnesota Manufacturers in the growing economy.

Manufacturing supplies over three hundred thousand jobs and is the second largest industry in Minnesota.

At the breakfast they discussed the importance of exporting manufacturing products over seas and the grants available to manufacturing companies.

Many of Minnesota fortune five hundred companies are manufacturers. Manufacturers are essential to the growth of Minnesota.
