For many the Shop with A Cop event is one of the most anticipated events of the Christmas season. It takes a lot of planning and volunteer work to put this event together.

Many different parties volunteered their time to help the kids do their Christmas shopping such as the Lakes Area Law Enforcement Association, The Brainerd and Baxter police departments, the CLC Criminal Justice Program and the area Princesses all helped make the day enjoyable for the kids.

Since this is such a special event a lot of the children have been waiting for their time to be chosen for the shopping trip.

All the children went home with wrapped gifts.
