Little Falls Arts & Crafts Fair Receives ‘Community Event of the Year’ Honors

Over 100,000 people flock to Little Falls every year to participate in the city’s annual Arts & Crafts Fair, and now, the event is being recognized nationally, as the Mid-America Chamber Executives organization has named the fair their Community Event of the Year.

Nearly 600 vendors from around the country come to Little Falls to sell their crafts, bringing in thousands of dollars. That lets the Little Falls Area Chamber and Tourism reinvest nearly $30,000 into the community every year.

“The whole town gets involved with this event, said Mary Bednarek, the Little Falls Chamber’s finance and special events manager. “A lot of our businesses, that’s their survival. It’s a lot of work and it’s a big production. There’s a lot [that] happens that weekend, and a lot of people involved, a lot of wheels turning. And it’s like, yeah, I think we deserve [the award].”

This year’s event will take place on September 6th and 7th. If you’d like to be a vendor, you can apply via the Little Falls Arts & Crafts Fair website by May 31st.
