League of Women Voters Meets

The League of Women Voters is a national organization that has a presence in all 50 states.

Their goal is to improve voter rights, not only for minorities, but also for younger people. They met in Bemidji on Wednesday to brainstorm ideas for solving what they believe to be an important issue as 2016 elections draw closer.

The meeting included a visit from the group’s state president.
