Lakeland Currents host Ray Gildow welcomes Merritt Bussiere from the U of M Extension Center for Community Vitality to examine second homeowners and their impact on the Brainerd Lakes region. A recent study by the University of Minnesota Extension shows that the social and economic impacts of second homeowners on the communities near their second homes are significant. Mr. Bussiere will explain some of the trends and possible future impacts that second homeowners will have on our region, both economically and culturally.
