Lakes Area Residents Attend Environmental Listening Session

Sixty people came out to talk with State Representatives Lueck and Heintzeman and Minnesota House Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy Chairman Tom Hackbarth about some of their environmental concerns.

Although there were a wide variety of topics discussed there was one important issue that the legislature might have to take another look at. The Representatives are trying to work with the community to preserve the activities they value. They plan to take all the information that they have learned back to the capital.
