We hit Turtle Lake, about ten miles north of Bemidji. The public access is just east of Irvine Avenue or Highway 15.

The 1,600 acres of water leaves plenty of space for anglers to explore.

Plenty of bluegill, sunfish and bass reward anglers working the weed beds.

The several islands provide wonderful drop-offs for fishing the pike and the bass.

Try trolling along the weed-lines for the walleye.
