Potato Lake has two public accesses between Highways 4 and 71, on Hubbard County Road 40, about 8 miles North of Park Rapids.
The “T” shaped lake spans more than 2,000 acres with depths down to 87 feet.

Potato Lake also offers crappie, bluegill, walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass. Our first-time host Jason Durham uses a drop-shot rig to chase the smallmouth.

The several points, humps, drop-offs and deep water provide plenty of places to look for fish, or other wildlife, or swim.
