Kinn Requests Furlough To Visit Sick Mother
A Bemidji man charged with kidnapping a 5-year-old girl may not be granted a furlough by the request of the Beltrami County Jail.
Last Saturday 32- year- old, Jacob William Kinn, requested to be released from the Beltrami County Jail for six hours so he could visit his sick mother. In Kinn’s request he states that his mother was hospitalized the weekend of his arrest and had to have heart surgery and has since been ill with a bacterial infection.
Kinn also added in his request that his mother would be the one transporting him.
A judge has not yet made a ruling on Kinn’s request.
Kinn’s next court appearance will be on a probation violation hearing August 19th. He will appear in court on the kidnapping charge September 16th where if convicted of kidnapping, Kinn could face a maximum of 40 years in prison, a $50,000 fine, or both.
