Kelliher School Honored with “School Hero Award”

The food service staff at Kelliher School has been recognized by the Minnesota Department of Education for excellence in providing healthy school breakfasts, lunches and snacks to students.  Kelliher’s school was one of three schools throughout Minnesota that was recognized with the “School Hero Award” by MDE monitors, who conduct administrative reviews in Minnesota schools.

This is the first year this award is being presented to school food service.

The other two Minnesota schools that were recognized were New London-Spicer Independent School District and St. John’s Lutheran School of Redwood Falls.
