Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebrated in Bemidji

Today marks Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and for the Native American community, today celebrates their culture and history.

The 7th Generation, a group out of Cass Lake, hosted the event and had a great turnout. From music, dancing, and community speakers, including those running for seats on the Bemidji City Council, Indigenous Peoples’ Day was well celebrated.
