In Focus: Hackensack Hot Jazz Festival

Big city entertainment in a small Northwoods town – now that’s something you don’t see everyday.

Hackensack, a small town of 313, came to life to the tunes of Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller, to name a few.

For one weekend, international jazz musician Josh Duffee and his world-class band brought two shows that has people on their feet.

This is all made possible after reconnecting with his Illinois high school teacher, who is also a seasonal resident of the Northwoods.

The night was made extra special for her mother, who turns 100 this month.
