Hundreds Gather For the Annual “March for Babies”

The march for babies is one of the biggest fundraisers for the March For Dimes organization. With over three hundred thousand babies born premature each year, their goal is to give all babies a healthy start. For many families the March for Babies walk is a way for them to pay it forward.

This years Brainerd Ambassador Family for the march was the Karppinens family. Jean Kruger’s baby girl Brielle was born premature and had to fight for her life. Jean credits the March of Dimes for saving her daughter. All the money that was raised will go to support prenatal wellness programs and other advocacy efforts for moms and babies.
