Historical Brainerd Grocery Store Closes Doors At The End Of The Month

If you live in southeast Brainerd, then you have most likely shopped at Inwards Grocery store. The store has been a landmark since the early 1920’s.

Being born and raised in Brainerd, Ron Inwards never thought that he would be the proud owner of the historical grocery store.

After nearly 35 years of providing groceries to the surrounding communities he and his wife have decided to retire and close the store.

Times have changed and there are not very many neighborhood groceries stores left.

The store will be officially closed when all of the merchandise is sold.
