Highway 210 To Reopen Thursday Between Brainerd And Ironton

All lanes of Highway 210 from Brainerd to Ironton are expected to be reopened by noon Thursday.

The entire project is expected to be complete by mid-October and will improve the ride, safety, and access along the busy stretch of highway, carrying 11,000 vehicles per day. The $6.2 million project reconstructed 11 miles of road surface and also added some new left turn lanes and bypass lanes among other improvements.

The detour on Highway 210 has been in place since July. Motorists who travel through the area are reminded it takes a full day to open the road and remove the detour. They are advised to be alert to changes and to watch for heavy moving equipment and removal of temporary signs and barricades.

The mini-roundabout in Deerwood will also be removed.
