Highway 169 South Of Garrison To Reduce To Single Lane The End Of April

Highway 169 south of Garrison will be reduced to a single lane in each direction beginning Monday, April 29.

Motorists who travel the highway between Garrison and County Road 26 may encounter additional delays during peak travel times after the four-lane segment of the road is reduced to a single lane in each direction.

According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the traffic change is needed while crews complete repair and restoration of the historical bridge on the existing northbound side of the road.

All lanes of Highway 169 are scheduled to open by mid-June of 2019.
