Vertical Harvest is a year-round urban farm in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Built on just one-tenth of an acre, the high-tech greenhouse grows an amount of produce equivalent to 10 acres of traditional farmland. A portrait of one community’s attempt to address pressing issues around local food production, inclusion and opportunity, HEARTS OF GLASS tells the story of how this innovative farm provides meaningful employment for people with developmental disabilities.
