Grant Awards Alternative Seating to a Brainerd High School Classroom

Ninth grade teacher Jessica Wales’s classroom is now furnished with some new seating options. Even something known as the standing desk was implemented that students in her classroom enjoy using as well. Wales says with the new additions shes already seeing changes in behavior with her students. Student say its the flexibility and movement of the alternative seating that have made it easier for them to focus on their class work. As a classroom they feel very privileged for these new alternative seating options.
