Grand Rapids Pair Indicted For Murder

Two Grand Rapids residents have been indicted by an Itasca County Grand Jury.

Joseph Christen Thoresen of Grand Rapids, 35, and Kayleene Danielle Greniger of Grand Rapids, 22, were indicted on two counts of Murder in the First Degree and two counts of Murder in the Second Degree.

According to a press release, the indictments are based on allegations that Thoresen and Greniger kidnapped, assaulted and murdered twenty year old David Alexander Haiman of Hibbing, with a baseball bat, a knife and a machete around June 21st, 2016 in their apartment.

Thoresen will appear in court October 21st, 2016 at 10 A-M. Greniger will appear in court October 21st, 2016 at 10:30 A-M.
