Grand Rapids Man Charged with Controlled Substance Crime

Grand Rapids – A Grand Rapids man has been charged with the felony crime of Controlled Substance Crime in the First Degree.

Steven Donald Storrs, 60, was arrested on May 4, 2016 in Grand Rapids by law enforcement. He was found with about 42 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Storrs pled guilty at the hearing. The court is still contemplating his sentencing agreement, but are considering that “the court impose a 103 month stayed prison sentence and place Storrs on 10 years of supervised probation on conditions including serving one year in jail and successful completion of a long-term residential treatment program…” according to office of the Itasca County Attorney.

Storrs’s hearing is scheduled for December 12, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
