Grand Rapids Community Votes ‘No’ on Idea of Two New Schools

65% of voters were strongly opposed to the idea of two new schools being built in Grand Rapids District 318, while 34% were in favor.

The referendum vote comes after four years of committee work to alleviate problems of overcrowding in elementary classrooms.
