Governor’s Residence Opens Its Doors For Holiday Tours

The Minnesota Governor’s Residence will be open for holiday tours starting on Tuesday Dec. 6 and 20. The times for the tours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. There will also be an evening tour scheduled for December 13th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The torus will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and no reservations are required.

 

The Holiday tours are typically 20-30, and are open-house style. Volunteers from the Women’s Auxiliary of the Minnesota Historical Society will be available to answer questions in each room on the first and lower level of the residence.

 

There will be a selection of merchandise available for purchase from the 1006 Summit Avenue Society. The proceeds from the sales will go to support the historic residence.
