Governor Dayton To Continue Tours At Clearwater, Becker Counties Thursday

After visiting Bemidji today, Governor Mark Dayton will continue his statewide tour of 87 counties in 86 days by visiting Clearwater, and Becker counties Thursday, August 18.

Itasca State Park, Park Rapids, 9 a.m.:

Governor Dayton, Pollution Control Agency Commissioner John Linc Stine, and Natural Resources Commissioner Tom Landwehr will kick off a Year of Water Action at the headwaters of the Mississippi River at Itasca State Park.

City Administrative Building, Detroit Lakes, 11 a.m.:

Governor Dayton and Commissioner Stine will meet with city and local officials to talk about their wastewater facility and clean drinking water supply for area residents. The city administrative building is located at 1025 Roosevelt Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501.
