Gordy Skaar Tournament

First and foremost, the Gordy Skaar Tournament aims to bring Bemidji State alumni back to help support the current Beaver teams. Of course, not all alumni are created equal. Oakland Raiders tight end Brian Leonhardt takes center stage.

Fortunately for Leonhardt, he is much better at football than he is at golf.  Although, he did not reach the NFL without working extremely hard on his game, transforming from a high school tackle to a professional tight-end.

Leonhardt needs to keep improving if he wants to stay with the Raiders.
Oakland drafted a tight end in the third round of the draft and also signed free agent veteran Lee Smith from Buffalo.
