Golden Apple: The CLC Nursing Students End the Year With Simulation Final

In another year when Kyle walks into a hospital room he will not be introducing himself as a student at Central Lakes College but as a registered Nurse at a hospital.

But today his only patient is a simulation doll named Sarah. Central Lakes College used Sarah as a way to give their first semester students hands on experience.

Simulations like this give students an opportunity to show their knowledge and how they would react to real world situations.

Although, Sarah is a mannequin that didn’t stop most of the students from being nervous before the simulation.

Simulations like this make the nursing students even more excited to start their future careers.

Now that their final simulation is over the nursing students are excited to enjoy their summer.
