Golden Apple: Lowell Elementary Goes Back to Medieval Times

If you ever wondered what life was like in the medieval times, wonder no more. As part of their curriculum the Lowell Elementary school student spent the day at a castle reenacting what life was like back then.

The third grade students rotated through ten different hands on stations where they were able to taste and feel their way through the castle.

One of the most popular stations was when they were given the opportunity to put on costumes and become a member of Mary Queen of Scott’s royal court.

The Lowell Elementary faculty are pleased that they can make history come alive for their students.

They ended the day with a knighting ceremony.
