Golden Apple: Girls Who Code
By the year 2020, the US Department of Labor expects there will be 1.4 million computer specialist job openings, but while women make up 57% of college graduates, they only account for 12% of the computer science graduates today. For this week’s Golden Apple, Catherine Silver speaks to members of the Girls Who Code club about what they’re doing to change those numbers.
