Global Summit Inspires Leaders in Northern Minnesota

A crowd of people gathered at Oak Hills Christian College in Bemidji today to learn a little bit about leadership and a lot about themselves. Each year, over 300 sites across the United States live broadcast the Global Leadership Summit, which features a variety of different speakers from different backgrounds. CEOs, authors, and actors share experiences and lessons to inspire leaders around the world and right here in Northern Minnesota.

The event is geared towards leaders, and people might think that you have to have a management title to attend, but event organizers say everyone can learn a lesson and be inspired. Cathy Dick said, “It’s a great opportunity to get better at leading your life, and whether you’re a parent, or in a church ministry, or whether you run a business, there’s always applicable things to take away.”

This is the third year Oak Hills Christian College has live broadcasted the two day event. The summit was also viewed in Grand Forks and Fargo.
