Food Angels is Getting Ready to Feed Park Rapids Students

Over 50% of all students in the Park Rapids go home for the weekend with nothing in the pantry to eat.

An initiative called Food Angels is working to reverse that problem, by providing a bag a food for kids to take home with them on Fridays.

This year, they’ve expanded to fourth-graders, and the first delivery is set for September 25.

Organizers expect to serve at least 90 kids this school year.
