Launching a boat can be frustrating and difficult. Tournament Angler Mandy Uhrich walks you through the process of the perfect boat launch.

Be courteous of others at the public access and prepare your boat off to the side.

Unstrap the boat and put in the boat plug.

Unlock the front lock with a bunk trailer.  If you have a roller trailer, leave the front lock on until you have the boat lined up with the dock.

Pull the boat forward until the trailer and vehicle are lined up with the dock. Then, back up slowly, using your mirrors for guidance.

Turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction you want the boat to move.

Good luck!
