First Responders Continue to Find Few Injures During Sunday’s Storm

First responders estimate a million dollars worth of public damage during and in the thousands of downed trees in the Brainerd Lakes Area during Sunday’s violent storm. However with so much damage first responders are shocked at how few people were injured during the storm.

First responders say this storm shows the importance of an emergency action plan and how prepared residents and resorts were for this devastating storm.

A first responders camp in Nisswa will remain open at least through the weekend giving those affected water, ice and supplies as well as cooking three meals daily.
