Fire Damages Northern Township Apartment

BEMIDJI- The Bemidji Fire Department responded to an apartment building fire reported at 9:50 AM on Sunday. The fire was located in the 600 block of Patriot Drive NW in Northern Township. The cause of the fire appears to be accidental in nature according to the Bemidji Fire Department, but is currently under investigation. The fire caused an estimated $50,500 in damage to the structure and contents. No injuries were reported. The Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, Bemidji Police Department, Minnesota Energy Resources, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources firefighters and Bemidji Ambulance Service.
