Catching Minnesota’s fall colors at it best. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is updating their Fall Color Finder to update Minnesota of the best state parks to see the changing colors.
The DNR’s Fall Color Finder allows users to check the percentage of fall colors are in a state park as well as the percentages of flowers in bloom and up-to-date pictures of the state parks. Cummings says he updates Kathio State Park with the weekend in mind.
As the leaves change their colors in central Minnesota, so does Visit Brainerd’s ad campaign, to highlight the Brainerd Lakes Area and the fall’s changing colors.
With waterparks, resorts, biking and running trails and lakes and rivers Visit Brainerd says there’s nowhere else in Minnesota with as much to do while enjoying the fall colors.
The DNR says the best time to travel to central Minnesota for the Fall colors is late September to early October.
