Finalists for Next BSU Alumni and Foundation Leader Visits Community This Week

The search for BSU Alumni and Foundation’s next executive director is narrowing down.

Two out of three finalists visited the campus today to speak with community members.

The nationwide search came down between:

  • Josh Christianson, director of alumni relations and development at the University of North Dakota John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences
  • Marla Patrias, chief development officer, prospect research and management and administrative office for the BSU Alumni & Foundation
  • Michael Meyer, associate vice president for university advancement at California Baptist University in Riverside, California.

The new director will replace Robert Bollinger, who retires June 30. That also marks the end of a 35 million fundraising campaign that Bollinger led, called Imagine Tomorrow.

The third finalist, Michael Meyer, will have his open forum Thursday, June 2, 1:30-2:30 p.m., at BSU’s Crying Wolf Room in lower Hobson Memorial Union.
