Ferocious Storm Rocks East Gull Lake

Howling wind and treacherous rain blasted the Brainerd Lakes Area over Gull Lake. This morning as the storm cleared downed trees and extensive damage was visible throughout the area. And the Gull Lake Recreation Campground was among the locations hit the hardest.

As the campers moved out they heard chainsaws and saw smoke from brush pile fires of neighbors and families coming together to help with the cleanup.

With trees in roofs and blocking driveways Gull Lake residents plan to be cleaning up for over a week.
