Father And His Two Sons Seriously Injured In Crash

A Fort Ripley father and his two sons were involved in a four-person, two-vehicle crash near Hawley Wednesday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol says that 40- year-Ryan Cerney, of Fort Ripley wasdriving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on Highway 10 near Hawley with his two sons as passengers.

A Kenworth semitrailer also traveling westbound on Highway 10 driven by 64- year- old Edmund L. Anderson of Ulen, started to move to the right lane but was rear-ended by the Silverado. Both vehicles came to a rest on the right shoulder.

All three males in the Silverado sustained serious injuries and were transported to a hospital in Fargo to be treated for their injuries. The driver of the semitrailer was not injured in the crash.
