Family of Four Injured in Rollover Crash

Minnesota., – On Saturday night a family of four was injured when their pickup truck rolled on County Road 11 in Crow Wing County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Martin D. Witt, 34, was driving a 2002 GMC Sierra pickup truck and towing a 2016 Cruiser Camper Trailer westbound on County Road 11 approaching Highway 6.

Allegedly Witt’s braked failed due to a broken brake line. He attempted to slow down by using the emergency trailer brake, but as he turned southbound the truck and camper rolled.

Witt was accompanied by his wife Julie Witt, 35 Ava Witt, 9, Devin Witt, 13. According to the crash report, Julie Witt was the only one wearing a seat belt when the truck crashed.

All four family members were taken to the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
