Congress Considers Reauthorizing the Federal Aviation Administration

Congress will soon be considering a bill to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration also known as the (FAA). One proposal on the bill has some members in the aviation community very concerned. Airports the size of the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport who serve a smaller community but offer several services utilize the Air Traffic Control system.

The FAA may be looking for a different way to cut expenses. The general Aviation industry supports millions of people each year. The general aviation community is waiting to see if the proposal will pass.
