Executive Director of the Sanford Center Resigns

VenuWorks will conduct a national search for a new Executive Director for the Sanford Center.

This comes after Steve Peters, the owner and president of VenuWorks announced today that Jeff Kossow has resigned.

“I am very thankful for Jeff’s leadership at VenuWorks. He will be greatly missed; however, I understand and support his decision to make this transition,” said Peters.

Kossow has accepted an executive leadership position at a law firm in Kennewick, Washington and will be relocating with his family.  His last day at the Sanford Center will be June 30.

According to the news release, VenuWorks and the City of Bemidji will collectively interview and hire the next leader of the Sanford Center after identifying the top candidates.

“I am confident working with Steve Peters and the VenuWorks executive leadership team, we will hire an exceptional leader to build upon the recent success at the Sanford Center,” said Mayor Albrecht.
