Engineering and Manufacturing Camp

Middle and high school students gear up their brains at the Summer Engineering and Manufacturing Camp at Central Lakes College in Staples. 37 campers divide into 18 teams with the ultimate goal of building the only robot to survive a demolition derby at the end of the week. Students begin with the same kit and the creativity takes over from there. We speak with three year veterans and some robot-rookies.
