Eggs and Issues with State Politicians and Local Businesses
French toast, sausages, eggs, politics and business were on the menu Friday morning at Cragun’s Resort during the Brainerd Lakes Chamber’s Eggs and Issues. The casual setting allowed local businesses owners to tell their state politicians how MNSure, taxes, higher minimum wages and a smaller employee pooler of have affected them.
With the economy coming back and the unemployment rate under 4%, local businesses say they’re struggling to find a properly trained workforce.
The state representatives and senators also address growing concerns about AIS and other policies relating to tourism.
