Drugs And Cash Taken From A Redby Home Results In Two Arrests

Two people are in custody after drugs and cash were confiscated from a home in Redby.

The Red Lake Police Department issued a press release stating that the Red Lake Department of Public Safety Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a Redby residence on Friday and seized approximately 180 grams of heroin, 65 grams of marijuana and hundreds of prescription pills.

The release also said that more than $8,000 in cash was confiscated and the street value of the seized drugs and pills is estimated to be $25,000 to $30,000.

Officers arrested a 37-year-old male and 66-year-old female during the search warrant and both face charges of selling and possession of controlled substances, the release said. Both are detained at the Red Lake Detention Center.
