DNR to Hold Public Meeting March 24 on Fisheries Management on Cass Lake Chain

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ Bemidji Area Fisheries Office will conduct a public information meeting March 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pike Bay Town Hall in Cass Lake.

Fish Management Cass Lake ChainThe meeting will provide updates on fisheries management activities throughout the Cass Lake Chain, including:

  • Recent fish population assessment and creel survey results.
  • Operation of the Big Lake Creek walleye spawning station.
  • Details about an upcoming project on walleye movement throughout the Chain.
  • Pike Bay walleye management.
