DNR Fishing Rules Face Changes

Surveys and town hall meetings from the fall have led the Minnesota DNR to announce fishing rule changes for anglers.

The new guidelines, which will be active in March, target seventeen lakes in the state. Kabekona Lake in Hubbard County, as well as Blackwater and Mule lakes in Cass County, were a part of the announced changes.

The DNR says changes in Kabekona, Blackwater and Mule are the result of the success of past rules in growing fish populations.
