DNR Announces Three-Walleye Bag Limit on Upper Red Lake This Summer

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources announced Tuesday that there will be a three-walleye bag limit this summer for anglers fishing on Upper Red Lake. Only one walleye longer than 17 inches will be allowed.

Last summer, there was a four-fish limit, but after an excellent winter season, the limit is down to three as the DNR expects the annual harvest to fall within 120,000 to 240,000 pounds.
