Deer River Football Beats Crosby-Ironton to Avenge 2023’s Opening Night Loss

Deer River was at home Friday night kicking off their 100th season of football, where they were hosting Crosby-Ironton. The Rangers beat the Warriors in the season opener last year at C-I.

The game would go back and forth in the second half, but Deer River was able to take the lead with just six seconds left and beat Crosby-Ironton 30-24 to avenge last season’s opening night defeat.
